Standards Set Posters are used to post the state standards for the subject currently being taught in the classroom. The charts are eleven inches by seventeen inches with large type that can be read from the back of the classroom. Our Classroom-Friendly version of the standards are affirmative and class orientated. Where possible sentence structure is simplified and word choice improved. A proposed change would not be made if it would expand or contract the scope of the original standard. Where original wording is vague or ambiguous the original wording is preserved leaving any interpretation to the teacher.  Please view the actual wording of the standards by clicking on the Take Home Standards tab. Standards Set Posters

Standards Set Posters are made up of a separate set of pages or charts for each subject. One chart appears at a time. Each chart contains one or more standards or objectives. The standard or objective must fit on no more than one chart

All the charts for a subject are held together by two snap rings that are mounted on a metal bar.  The bar is then hung through the webbing loops that are attached to the classroom wall.

The charts can be moved away from the wall to allow the teacher to flip through the charts. The last chart in a set is the index.  This allows the teacher to quickly find a chart.

The charts are printed with type large enough to be read throughout the classroom. We use Arial Bold typeface with seven-eighths inch tall letters. If the standard or objective will not fit on one chart we fall back to three-quarter inch tall letters.
