Teachers Hero started in 2003 when Linda Slater at 24th Street School in Los Angeles identified the need for Kid-Friendly versions of the state standards for her classroom. After learning several ways not to solve the problem we came up with Kid-Friendly eleven by seventeen inch posters. We now have the poster in thousands of California classrooms. In 2007 we have started making posters for Florida.
